Spring Baseball

The Bellevue Avalon Baseball Spring Baseball Season is open to all children within Avalon, Bellevue and surrounding communities ages 4-17.

Our season begins in January with our Winter Conditioning (Open Gym) and runs through Mid-June.

Registration for the Spring 2020 season is now open online and in-person (during Open Gym) through March 7, 2020.

Tee-Ball
A team sport based on and simplifying baseball.  It is intended as an introduction for children aged 4 to 6 to develop ball-game skills and have fun!
Winter conditioning runs January through the first week in March.  The children will meet once a week for an hour to work on running, throwing, and catching.  Team practices will begin in March and the season will run through Mid-June.  You can expect a 1-2 day/week commitment based on practices and games.  Games will be held in the early evening or Saturday mornings.

Instructional Level
This a team sport that builds upon the fundamentals learned in Tee-Ball.  At this level, children aged 7-8 will continue to develop their skills and knowledge of the game. Winter conditioning runs January through the first week in March.  The children will meet once a week for an hour to work on running, throwing, and catching.  Team practices will begin in March and the season will run through Mid-June.  You can expect a 2-3 day/week commitment based on practices and games.  Games will be held in the evening or on Saturdays.

Minor Level
This is a team sport where children aged 9-10 will continue to refine their skills and deepen their knowledge of the game. At this level, the children will pitch games and be expected to take a more active role in the games.  Winter conditioning runs January through the first week in March.  The children will meet once a week for an hour and half to work on running, throwing, and catching.  Team practices will begin in March and the season will run through Mid-June.  You can expect a 3-4 day/week commitment based on practices and games.  Games will be held in the evening or on Saturdays.

Major Level
This is a team sport where children aged 11-12 will continue to refine their skills and deepen their knowledge of the game.  At this level, the children will pitch games and be expected to take a more active role in the games.  Winter conditioning runs January through the first week in March.  The children will meet once a week for an hour and half to work on running, throwing, and catching.  Team practices will begin in March and the season will run through Mid-June.  You can expect a 4-5 day/week commitment based on practices and games.  Games will be held in the evening or on Saturdays.
